i recently purchased 2 wired Xbox 360 remotes online as i recently broke my original one (was working fine before hand). I plugged one of the new remotes in only to see it didn't work in any game and appeared as "generic USB joystick" in devices. I have tried updating the drivers but it will not appear or work as a Microsoft Xbox controller. A note too add is that when the remotes are plugged in the light appears as red instead of green (not sure if that has anything to do with it) if somebody could give me a hand in resolving this issue that would be great thanks.
P.S. I am currently running the latest version of windows 10.
