Hello, I have a P5QPL-AM from Asus(pretty old MoBo).
But the problem is, i can't see the splash screen, and BIOS screen. So i can't configure the settings(like OC, change the time). But boots to windows with no problem.
My keyboard still working, but display nothing until go to Windows boot logo... I've tried to change the display ports(i have a gtx 550ti, which have a dvi and vga port), but no success. Tried to CMOS Reset(unplugged the battery, and do the jumper method too), everything worked fine(the keyboard, etc), but only display seems not working, so i needed to randomly press the keys to manage to go to windows screen. My BIOS version is updated.
And sorry about my poor English. And thank you!

Have you spammed your F2 or DEL key immediately after turning on?

It's possible your splash screen (or timeout) is disabled, or set to 1second in the BIOS and it's just not displaying it.
Should be able to rectify that in the BIOS itself, but the only way to enter it initially would be to spam the appropriate key from the off.

Yes, i remember the key to enter to BIOS screen is DEL key, after spamming that(my keyboard led is working), just blank screen. At msconfig boot tab, my timeout is set as default, which is 30 seconds.
Thanks for quick reply.

After CMOS reset, I just pressed the F1, Esc, and Enter keys, to manage to get out the message screen(because my display isnt working, so i cant see what's going on). Doing that i can go to windows loading screen(which appears in my display).
Thanks for the reply!

I clicked at restart button on windows, so i managed to go to bios. Its funny because after a CMOS reset, the quick boot is enabled(seems like default option). Sorry about my misunderstanding, now my display shows BIOS splash screen, and i can configure my BIOS now. Thank you for all your answers!
