Hi,
As of the past few days, I've been trying to fix my computer (programs haven't been working, tasks have been sluggish, etc). I've found that it might be a memory leak - and I've tried quite a bit, to no avail. Specs-

GTX 1070
FX-8310
8GB RAM

What can I do to figure this out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Try with just one stick of RAM in the A2 slot if you have four slots.? and try switching modules around in case one is failing. If any are suspect, its best to run Memtest86+ by booting from a USB stick.
List your MB if not sure.
What else have you tried.?

Run a Malware check with your virus software to eliminate that possibility.

Also run "sfc /scannow" without the quotation marks in an elevated Command Prompt.
This will check your system files for corruption and will try to fix them.

Check in Task Manager for any anomalies and Event Viewer for clues.

Have you used HWMonitor to check your system temperatures.?

Try the above first and please report back with your findings.
