FPS problems when playing games.

I've been recently having FPS dropping problems when playing games such as Skyrim and The Witcher 3, as well as low requirement games such as League of Legends. When I had first bought my PC, everything ran fine, getting a constant 200+ FPS on max settings for most of the games I played, but only recently has it started to randomly drop frames. I originally thought it was my AMD 9370's "Cool 'n' Quiet" function slowing down my CPU speed, I had turned it off and my CPU was constantly running at the intended max of 4.40mhz, but it is resulting in the same issue. It is starting to get really frustrating and i'm looking to see if anyone has a fix for this problem.

Only way around it would be to find a restore point previous, even if it's earlier than you want. Or you can uninstall the problematic update in question:

While running League of Legends, my GPU sits at around 50-53 at all times, while it seems my CPU is fluctuating between 60-65 C, I assume these temperatures are too high for the CPU. If so, do you recommend getting a better cooling system? I had also heard that the 9370 runs very hot compared to it's predecessors as well as Intel CPUs, would you recommend upgrading it?

Those are not bad temps, and for LOL the CPU should have no issues at all with the system. It may be some issues with Windows updates and driver conflicts, maybe see if there were updates done to the system right around the time the issues started.

It does seem that there was a windows update around the time the issue started. i've checked my driver booster 4 multiple times over the past few months, and it doesn't seem like there were any different drivers, could this be the issue?

are the new Zen cpus using the same chipset as these, or am I going to have to get a new mobo aswell?

If you did not add any new files to the system since the change, you can try to do a system restore to a time you did not have the issue. For drivers, check directly with the motherboard and other hardware vendors, I don't like 3rd party software.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any restore points for that point in time, any way around this?
