I will be building my first pc very soon. I want to know if i should update my bios as soon as i boot it up.. please let me know if i should update it or is it fine should i just leave it? In case your wondering i got the asus maximus viii hero

You only need to update the BIOS if there is an issue. I usually update to the newest bios if it adds new features like NVMe or processor support.
