Samsung evo 850 M.2

I am planing to use it with Gigabyte
GA-Z170X-Designare but the Pc Part Picker website showes it not compatible (1 additional M.2 2280-B-M compatible slot is needed.
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive and Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Designare ATX LGA1151 Motherboard are not compatible) can someone help me please thank

It is compatible.
Pcpartpicker forget to include a M.2 slot for the GA-Z170X-Designare in its spec/database.

It would work, but it's not a good idea. Get a 2.5" 850 EVO and keep that M.2 slot free for when NVMe SSDs come donw in price. Having a SATA SSD on m.2 presents no speed advantage over the 2.5" variant.
