Hi guys my first pc gaming rig build has been up and running for 2 weeks now and had its new Asus Strix 1060 graphics card installed ( black friday bargain ;-)

My question is when i do come to overclock my 4690k to 4-4.5mhz will the cooler master hyper Evo 212 be enough cooling for it?

I wont be having the chip constantly overclocked, it will just be for as and when it is needed for cpu dependant games and poor frame rate.

My rig has 4 fans in it consisting of the hyper evo 212 fan and 3 x Be quiet! pure wings 2 pre installed case fans con my Be quiet! silent base 800 window case.
3 on my Asus strix 1060 but i doubt that helps my gpu cooling.

Any insight is appreciated.

The 212 Evo is usually good enough for a modest overclock. I won't guesstimate exactly how high because there are too many other variables, but you can expect a few hundred mhz over the turbo speed at least. You can also expect for overclocking to not make much difference too.
