Can I still / somehow upgrade my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10?

So, title is pretty stupid and doesn't explain the case that is- But let me explain exactly what I mean.
Short story:
So, right before Windows 10 wouldn't be free anymore I got my self together and downloaded Windows 10 and installed it and so on.
Now, some months later I had a major virus "attack(?)" on my pc which corrupted my entire SSD (where my OS was installed) ...to the point where it would not even boot up any hard drives to that point.
So, I had to format and do a bunch of stuff in order to get my stuff back online. But what I did not take into consideration is that I have not "bought" windows 10, only Windows 8.1 on disk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question:
1) Can I somehow get Windows 10 for free again since I had it once?
2) If that's not possible, then what about a digital code that could grant me access to Windows 10 Upgrade again? Like if I buy it on a site so I don't have to go out and buy new CD's and reformat my entire system once again.

The reason why I want Windows 10 is only because of the Windows Store, or whatever they call it. I bought Forza Horizons 3 for Windows, but what I didn't know was that it would only be available for Windows 10.

Hmm, I'm gonna look further on their sites. I have not seen any updates that said anything about Windows 10, and I'm not sure if it even is bound to my account. I'll have a look and report back.

Update: Nope, I logged into my account on both their site and on my pc. Looked through all my products, codes or other things that was on my account. Which the only thing being that game I bought for like 99$ lol. If I hit the "Upgrade" on their site it directs me to their purchase site, which is in my country 120$ for home edition.

Huh, uhmm It says MediaCreation tool, which you probably already noticed. So, by this I get it for free?

Well, it took a lot longer than expected. Had some error code pop up, turned out just to be some setting in BIOS I had to swap around. Everything is working and I got Windows 10 back on my pc thanks to you. Thank you so much sir. You saved me not only a lot of time but 120$ on a new Windows Installation cd.
Again, thanks !
