Best sound card for Turtle Beach headset ( DTS )?

Hi .. I have turtle beach elite headset + TAC controller .. and it connects through optical
will I have notice a difference if I get a better soundcard on PC ? And what sound card do you recommend .. thanks

Can you please state the model for your Turtle Beach Headset? They have a lot of SKU's/models in their arsenal. On another note, how are you connected to the headset and what is your current audio output device(soundcard)? Please list your full system's specs inclusive of OS and audio equipment.

We will also need to know your region of residency+preferred site for purchase+the budget in order to tailor a response/suggestion.

I have the Elite turnament pro Headset .. and The Tactical Controller (amp)
The headset connects to controller and the controller (amp) connects to the pc through optical cable (DTS SOUND )
And the pc has asus onboard sound card
I'm thinking to get a sound card but I'm not sure if I will notice any difference
And I use it for gaming and movies
