I have a M5A97 Asus motherboard and there is no onboard 3.0 port so I can use the USBs in the front of my computer. I have seen some adapters but I dont know which one to choose. There are some that change it to a fan port and such but I dont know if I should do that or just upgrade? Or if there is another solution? Thanks for the help

This gave me 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back, plus it gave me a USB 3.0 connection so that I could add some front panel ports as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008FJXGDQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
