I just got a Blackwidow x and i downloaded all the profiles off razer and still looking for more effects.

I had this happen to me to with another keyboard. The lights were not showing up. I learned that I needed to press scroll lock on my keyboard and it made the lights appear. Maybe your keyboard has that similar design where you have to press that. Try that. It might be another button, you just got to find it.
