So right now I'm using a GeForce 970 and I'm looking for an upgrade.

My motherboard supports 2+ graphics cards and my PSU can handle it. I have a budget of around 250£ (316$) and an open to selling my 970.

What would be the best upgrade for me?

Thanks

gtx970 are still making great money on ebay--here in the uk any way

i can actually sell my msi gaming gtx970 for only around £30 less than i paid for it months and months ago

which is pretty unusual normally pc stuff depreciates quite fast

so i agree with elbert sell the gtx970 get a 1070

would be my choice over getting a second gtx970

As a replacement or as a second card?

Thanks for the help

And a question about running two cards in general, if i install a slower card than my 970 will they both slow down and run at the same speed?

you mean a slower clocked gtx970?

got a feeling they clock independently but never used sli always stuck with 1 card so not 100% on that

no sli game issues or huge power draw that way
