Can an AMD APU make use of 4 sticks of RAM?

I am looking to build my first PC and have a pretty low budget of 250ish pounds and I have pretty much made my mind up to go with an amd APU and I have done some research. I know that these will use up the main system ram and that it is is best to have it running 2 sticks of memory so that it has dual channels therefore doubling the speed ( I think) do you get even better memory speeds if you have 4 or 3 sticks of ram (4 or 3 channels) if it's even possible?

I am currently thinking of going for the Amd A10 7700k if the costs of the build don't become to high. Does this support what I want to do?

I know this is probably a stupid question but I am quite new to this. I am asking as I thought it may be cheaper to get 3 or 4 times slower speed ram with 2gb of memory per stick than high quality 2x 4gb 1880 mhz ram.

Solution
AMD mobos are strictly dual channel, you can have a couple of slots for each channel, best is DRAM in a 2 or 4 stick config, to have full dual channel mode. And best to have all from a single package of DRAM, no guarantees when mixing 2 packages of DRAM - even if same exact model

Thank you i didn't know amd boards were stricly duel channel nor that you could have more than one stick of ram in one channel. Thanks for the quick reply
