Choosing a new CPU (bottlenecking problems)

I did a lot of work scavenging for old PC parts that I had stored in my office that were taken from several places you can't even imagine and I came up with a pretty good setup:

Mobo: ASUS P8H61-M LX2
CPU: i3 2100 @ 3.1 GHz
RAM: 1x4 GB HyperX Fury
GPU: Asus R9 270x (Actually, my cousin got me this one)
PSU: Corsair CX 430

I had some problems with this rig, including a bad ram slot, which, by the way, I posted it here: http://
Another problem is something that was pretty obvious to me since the beggining but I never though how much of a problem it would be. I guess if you saw my specs (and the title lol), you already guessed it: CPU bottlenecking.
I'm trying to figure ways out of this situation, but it seems there are no solutions other than upgrading. Here comes the question: which processor should I get? I wonder if I should get an FX processor, or an LGA 1155 i5, an i3 6100, I don't really know, there are so many options. Considering I can't spend more than $200 (that's really my limit), what is the best bet? I use my PC mainly for gaming (League of Legends, GTA V and BF4) and video editing (Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D)
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

You best options are i7 2600 or 2600k or 3770 or 3770k. You can get all of them under 200$ i think, and sell that i3 and ram and get 1 stick of 8 GB cuz 4 Gb is a bit low for those games if you ask me.
