I was wondering what the performance difference would be between FX-8320 and FX-8350 in games such as Ark Survival Evolved.
Hi Hunter_Persson
There's not a great deal of difference. The FX-8350 is binned for higher OCs.
If you don't intend to OC the chip then get the FX-8320.
If you intend OCing the 8350 you may have to upgrade your cooling system for a decent OC.
You wouldn't notice the difference w/o monitoring fps side by side. The gfx card will be the main determiner.
So there would not be that much of a difference in performance in ark lets say with a FX-8320 running with a rx 480 and a FX-8350 running with a rx 480?

The 8350 is an 8320 but just comes factory overclocked, you would notice little difference and there is not that much of a performance gap between the 480 and the 8350!

Again, w/o monitoring performance side-by-side, you won't notice any difference. The faster clock speed of the FX-8350 would have an insignificant performance edge... if any. But then there's OC'ing. Both CPUs are designed to OC.
