Hello! So I recently decided to upgrade my pc a bit, so I bought an ssd and some extra ram. Upon installing both, my pc power button now does nothing. The ram is the exact same type that I already had before, and I've tried both the paper clip method and removing the CMOS battery to reset the bios on an Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1 motherboard. I've got no idea what to do now, so any help is hugely appreciated.

Before I added the RAM and SSD, everything worked flawlessly, so I can imagine it's still fine.

I did try this earlier, but it was before I had taken the CMOS out and such, should I try doing that or would it even make a difference?

Alright, so I opened my PC up and looked at it again and the motherboard does have a red pwr LED on when the PSU is plugged in, but the fans don't spin. However, when I hit the power button, an almost whirring sound starts from the PSU, and when I turn my pc off by holding the power button for a bit, the PSU does click like it's turning off. I can't do the test thing because my motherboard cable is all blacked out for some reason, no wire colors.

Sorry for the late response, I ended up having to go to bed and was busy until now. I've tried pretty much everything that I know how to do now, and when I hit the power button to boot my pc up, my fans all twitch. It's very strange. I hear a clicking, as if the system is turning on, the fans twitch, and then another click as though I had turned the system off.
