I have my Western Digital external Drive formatted for my Xbox One. It has some games and is working fine. I recently bought a PS4 and I would like to use this external drive for my PS4. How do I format/reformat it to use with the PS4. I do not mind if I can no longer use it on my Xbox One, I prefer having this drive attached to my PS4.

Welcome to the community, @Irvin_3!

As long as there's nothing important onto your WD external HDD, you can easily reformat it from your computer. Another alternative would be to format it through the console itself. However, since you changing to a PS4, you need to know that it can be used to back up your entire internal HDD from the console; but you won't be able to install full games onto the ext. HDD and play.

Hope this helps you. Let me know if you any additional questions.
