is there real gigabit usb 3.0 ethernet lan adapter?

I have gigabit internet.
at my homemy download speed on speedtest.net: 947Mbps down, and 205Mbps up.

is there an usb 3.0 gigabit lan ethernet adapter, what is can this speed? (rougly)

my friend bought usb 3.0 gigabit adapter in his home: TP-LINK UE300
and it is slow! the download is only 230Mbps(but he have gigabit internet)

it is cant do gigabit speed?

the problem sovled.
I changed the cable and my results with TP-LINK UE300:
Upload:200 megabit
download:800 megabit so i think it is perfect !

The speed will only be that of the slowest component.

Could be some misconfiguration, someQoS limit , just a bad wire that loses packets - who knows?

Invite your friend to come over to your home and bring the adapter. Try it out on your system and see what happens. You may discover something that will both answer your concerns and help your friend.
 
It should work. The few times I used usb3 ethertnet they ran at gig speed but I don't even remember the brands.

Try copying large files from 1 machine to another in your house. You should get over 100 mBYTE.

You can also load a old line mode test program called iperf on 2 different machines. This run 100% from memory and is small so it tests just the network and is not affected by disk or cpu issues.
