I blindly purchased an I7 6700k processor, not knowing that it wasn't going to be compatible with my motherboard. I am looking for an affordable motherboard that can 1) hold the i7 6700k and 2) hold ddr4 ram

Any suggestions? I'm really not that good at this stuff. Thanks!

Any $60-100 LGA1151 motherboard will suit your needs. If you plan on overclocking you'll need a Z170 chipset motherboard.
