Hi, so a few weeks ago I purchased my first true gaming desktop, it is custom built and specs are as follows:
AMD FX9590
ASUS mobo
32GB RAM
2x Sapphire R9 270x
1200w psu
Samsung 250 SSD.
The last few weeks I have been having issues with games freezing my computer so drastically that I have to manually turn my power supply off, CSGO,Titanfall 2, Call of Duty, basically and of the games I play cause this issue, i have tried running without and with crossfire, without runs smoother, with seems to crash my PC ever faster, I do not now if it is an overheating issue, as I've been told this is a very hot running PC, however I do not know how to monitor temps other than the touch screen fan controller on the PC. Also even when on my desktop there is consistently a small 1"x1" square of texture that is distorted, the square is never in the same place, and happens not matter what is going on on my PC. Currently running Win 8.1 64bit, I am relatively new to custom PC's, but i am not completely clueless, any help is appreciated!

Your motherboard does not officially support the FX9590. As expected, the problem is the cpu. I recommend you "upgrade" to the FX8320, or FX8320E.

Or if possible, save money until you can upgrade the entire system. AMD will be releasing Zen soon.

Hi, I'm using an ASUS M5A97, and 4x8 on the RAM, Corsair 240mm radiator as the cooler, found a way to monitor temps while under load and found that my cpu core temps never got above 51 degrees Celsius. Also tried interchanging gpu's and running 3dmark tests, with one gpu I seem to be getting odd texture glitches and random lines across my screen, same with crossfire enabled, however with using my other card i didnt seem to have any texture glitches. also could not finish the 3Dmark test in crossfire without my PC freezing and having to force restart. Could possibly be a bad gpu?
