Whats hindering my gaming experience

During game play i experience lag i have an asrock970 motherboard, an amd fx 8350 with h80 liquid cooler, an ssd, 8gb grrr2 ram or what ever its called and a gtx 660 graphics card.

would adding a graphics card solve this situation and would a radeon 460 4gb pair with my existing gtx 660 graphics card? the radeon is 120, are there any other graphics cards around this price that are better?

When you say lag do you mean video choppiness?
I would never Mix AMD and NVIDIA Products together on a system (too many reason for drivers to generate issues)
GTX 660 card is possibly your issue. a GTX 750Ti SC would be a nice cheap upgrade about 100-110$

explain "lag" what do you mean exactly?

no, in order to use more than one card and see a performance increase, they need to be the same model

i.e. gtx 660 + gtx 660, that said you DONT want to do this with your current cpu

the rx 460 is not an upgrade from a gtx 660, sidegrade

you want a gtx 1050 ti or better if you want to see a noticeable improvement

that website is garbage

a gtx 1050 ti is close to a gtx 960 in performance

but yes the 780 ti is a lot better, in the same bracket as a gtx 970
