I have a gigabyte b85-d2v motherboard currently using my pentium g3260 which is obviously not unlocked.
I am saving up to buy an i5 4690k and was wondering if i could overclock that cpu on this motherboard. I saw another thread that said yes it can overclock but it is not as friendly as a z97 motherboard.
To double check with you can I overclock on the b85-d2v with i5 4690k? To something like approx. 4.3 ghz. I have a hyper 212x cpu cooler and a 500w vp psu from antec. My gpu is gtx 960 2 gb if ur curious
