I have a Toshiba Satellite L55W-C running on Windows 10 64-bit operating system. I've had the computer for about 6 months and it's been great. Within the last 2 weeks the cursor is starting to move erratically. It snaps to the periphery of the screen and clicks on its own. I have run a complete virus scan with McAfee and Malwarebytes; changed mouse settings (doesn't seem to matter whether I'm using an exterior mouse or the touchpad); uninstalled Synaptics driver and reinstalled; uninstalled Google Chrome and reinstalled; nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the answer. Found the solution. You have to turn off the Human Interface Device (HID) in the computer's Device Manager. Only downside is when I go to my tablet mode, I have to take 30 seconds and turn it back on again.
