Any of them would really be fine. ASUS (strix is too expensive for a 1060 imo the others are good), gigabyte, evga, msi, zotac, etc all make great cards. The 1060 does not need a massive cooler and beefed up power delivery components to perfom well so one of the cheaper cards will be fine especially if it means you could get the 6gb version.

Evga ACX 3.0 has reportedly the highest failure ratio of all Nvidia Pascal graphics cards. So uh, no. EVGA IS NOT TEH BEST.

Its a founders card with a better cooler on it, unless you get the FTW. Nothing wrong with EVGA but they are not the be all end all of gpu board partners.

Get the "EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SC GAMING"

It has..
Base Clock: 1607 MHz / Boost Clock: 1835 MHz; Memory Detail: 3072MB GDDR5
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 - Small Size, Huge Performance
Ultimate 4K GAMING (up to 120Hz + GSYNC)
DX12 OSD Support with EVGA Precision XOC
3 Year Warranty & EVGA's 24/7 Technical Support

Dimensions: 1.5 x 6.8 x 4.38 in

Yea, it fit's 99% of systems

I hate when people shamelessly promote a brand as the best, and undoubtedly the only choice in their opinion.
While I am personally a fan of EVGA as of this generation and have been very happy with my FTW and their service, their 1060 cards are awful value unless you're getting an ITX variant, all of which have less than optimal cooling given you have the space available for a desktop cooler.
In this regard the Gigabyte Windforce cards are the best value, with the 3GB at $199 and the 6GB often going down to $235 from $249.

With the 1080s for example, for a balanced card with good overclocking, go for the FTW.
For a card that runs extremely cool, the Strix cards are best. For silence, MSI's Twin Frozr VI cooler.
For value, Gigabyte and Zotac.

Same with @RCFProd, if you're going to make claims, it's always best to back them up with statistics, this goes for both sides, otherwise it ends in a meaningless argument.

If there wasn't an issue, would retailers accept a full refund? That goes for only the EVGA ACX 3.0 models, and no other Pascal GPU brands/models on the entire market. There have been videos of ACX3.0 Pascal GPU's exploding/catching fire and rows of complaints on forums about it from people who suffered the same issue.

So why no footage of other brands so far? It shows there is a risk. The topic is about them using weak capacitors for their GPU's. Thermal temps aren't the issue, It's the capacitors that might not last long as they've used cheaper ones.

There isn't a statistic for power supplies in such cases either, so you won't find those but research says plenty.
