So just today I opened forza horizon 3 and during the optimization stage my PSU began to make a high pitched squealing noise. This is the first time it has ever happened and it does not make this sound while I play other games such as BF1. Yesterday after i realized my 1866 ram was running at 1333 I enabled XMP in the bios to fix it (which it did) however could this have anything to do with the sounds that have just started? If not then is it just a faulty PSU and should I replace it? Right now im really worried that it will fry my system.
