As far as encoding goes, an i3-6100 and FX 6350 (slightly faster than 6300) are tied in Handbrake benchmark.

However, a G3258 OC'd to 4.4 GHz is actually a little better than an i3-4330 in Handbrake. The i3-6100 is a little faster and newer, but not hugely so.

I can't really say how overall multi tasking ability will compare, but purely based on encoding, I don't know if you'll see much of an improvement either way.

I'm not sure what kind of answer you're looking for. I don't think it really makes sense to try evaluate how powerful a 'hyperthread' is on its on. You can compare benchmarks between an i3 and a Pentium to see the benefits of hyperthreading, but it varies depending on the workload.

multitasking, especifically encoding ive done it with g3258 overclocked to 4.2 with 2 instances of convertxtodvd at 50 fps and could play a movie with vlc and browse internet but that was the limit thats why i´m asking for the two extra threads of i3 6100 havent tried fx 6300 but i need a cpu and my inmediate budget is $100 top.
