Hello guys ! I want to upgrade my RAM memory. I currently have 4x1 gb of DDR3 RAM and I want to buy 2x4 gb of DDR3 RAM. I thought that maybe I can save 2 of the 4 gb that I have now by putting 2x1 RAM in the slots 1 and 3, and then the 2x4 RAM in the slots 2 and 4. So I will have 10 gb of DDR3 RAM.
Now my question is: It is better to have 2x1 gb plus 2x4 gb or it's better to only have 2x4 gb ?
