I have $300 as my budget and I want to upgrade my gpu and power supply. Any ideas?

Sorry forgot my specs
I7 6700k 4.0 GHz
16 GB DDR4
Z170-E Motherboard
1 TB SSHD
2 TB HHD
GTX 960 4gb
EVGA 500 watt 80 PLUS Bronze certified

Your PSU is fine so I suggest you go for a GPU. For $300 there isn't much you can get that you can't get for a little more than $200. You could go for a GTX 980 from Ebay but it's a minimal performance increase from a GTX 1060.

Yeah and the risk that comes with buying used hardware. Not worth it IMO.

Alright then he could get an R9 Fury from Newegg, which costs $240 and performs better than the GTX 1060.

Yes that would also offer a bit more performance, but with the standard pricing they are usually over or very close to $300 so I ruled it out for you lol. But if you can find one for under $300 yeah thats a good buy.
