Hello everyone! :D I ran a psu calculator and the calculator displayed the recommended is 315w. Also my power supply is 300w. Is this completely fine if it's just 15 watts over, just wanting to make sure so my computer doesn't go kaboom

SPECS:

PSU - 300w (prebuilt made by Dell)
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 (2.5ghz, 2MB)
4GB DDR2 (800mhz?, PC2-6400)
320GB SATA HDD (3.5inch, 5400RPM)
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3100 (integrated)

(looking to see if I can get a GTX 750 TI in my computer :)

Well all I know is it is made by Dell..sorry :(

Dells factory psu's are usually hit or miss. Btw is that system a low profile computer (thinner than a normal side desktop). If so adding a gpu requires you to get a low profile version. Also the e5200 is really old and won't allow the 750ti to perform nearly as well as with other cpu's. Is this computer intended for gamin or not? Could you please list the usecase.

If you are talking about like replacing the bracket so it is smaller? If so then no it isn't a low profile pc lol. And yes I wish to play minor games (games that aren't cpu intensive) like CS:GO maybe? I was thinking of a GTX 1050 TI but I am not sure if it can handle that graphics card even though it only gets power from the PCI-E slot like the GTX 750 TI. Oh! Also it is a Inspiron 530. I am gonna see if it is a G33M02 or G33M03 because I need to get a quad core processor in there so GTA V will work properly

Little update. CSGO is highly cpu intensive. If your first 2 cpu cores aren't good you are going to have a bad time. Btw even if you get a c2q at 3ghz gta V won't be much fun with that slow hdd and weaker processor. Btw that psu in the inspiron will be able to handle a gtx 750ti or 1050ti ( pretty much the same power usage due to architecture optimization). However that was only true if it was really a new computer as psu's degrade over time. With the current config it will handle a gtx 750ti or 1050 but when you upgrade to a core 2 quad your psu will likely be to weak and your system will become unstable / crash / not boot.
