Hello.
I recently installed 4 new G.Skill RipJaw sticks totaling 16g, This was an upgrade from 10g. The DRAM frequency is at 665 MHz currently. The PC is an HP P6531P with a Foxconn 2A92 MB and a AMD Athlon II x4 635 Processor. Everything is installed correctly and the newest BIOS update is from 2010 which in most cases is pretty antiquated.
Aside from the clocking the speed of the PC is slower than it was. CPU-Z recognizes all 16g of ram so Im thinking all the sticks are good. Ive gone into the BIOS but I dont see how or where to fix these issues. Id just assume throw the old sticks back in cause this slowness is not what I was hoping for... Any and all recommendations are appreciated. Thank you
