TL;DR got a new Graphics card that works great but doesn't (more than likely) work with my Lenovo 2012 motherboard/BIOS. Help?

Hey guys, I just got a Radeon RX480 Powercolor for my Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 and it doesn't work on my PC. As in, the fans turn on, but it doesn't even connect to the monitor. No Signal is all I see.

It's for sure not the new power supply (750 watts). Not the cables. Not the Card (works in other computers). Not the outputs (HDMI and DVI work). Not the hard drives or drivers (used the CD that came with it) and not the monitor. It's not the slot necessarily (GTX 660 worked before and after and worked on both the top and bottom PCI-E). Not the older Drivers (completely wiped the old Nvidia Drivers and replace with new ones.)

So, after poking around it appears it's my motherboard (specifically my BIOS) being out of date for such a new card. Which puzzles me. I thought a Motherboard would last longer than 4 years? Am I wrong?

I called Lenovo and they said "take it to Best Buy." turns out they don't have a BIOS update online (it just says no update needed). My brother who is way more of an expert than I am is stumped and believes it's also the fact the motherboard is older now.

Anyone have any experience?
