So i got my i5-4690K to 4.5Ghz with the 212 evo. And tested it for a couple hours and it seems to be stable. The thing is while gaming say battlefield 1 it hits 76C to 78C. When I game I usually play for hours so will these temps be bad for the CPU long term? Or am I ok.

Specs:
MSI GTX 980
Intel i5-4690k
Corsair 8GB RAM
650Watt Corsair PSU
Asus Z97-A MOBO

Temperature inside your case. And as long as you stay under 80 you're fine under full load, throttling doesn't occur until you hit 105C, which means the cpu will slow down in order to reduce the power and temperature.

Those are not bad temps, considering bf1 can sometimes use 100% of the cpu. But it could be better, what are your ambient temps? Did you overclock your cpu at all? If yes what are the voltages?
I have an overclocked 3570k @ 4.2 and never go above 65C even on full load and when gaming for long periods of time. I have the same cooler by the way.

Well yes I overclocked from 3.5Ghz to 4.5Ghz and thats the temps I get. What are ambient temps? not too sure what that is.

It seems like their 30C I mean I live in Ireland its Freezing here so you know. I only have 1 fan pulling air into the case tho. Im hoping to buy a pack of 3 RGB fans after Xmas when Im back from my holiday. Then ill probably place another fan on the cooler. Also btw when i have 2 fans on the CPU cooler do they need to be the same or is it ok when their 2 different ones.

You should be fine; for the cooler, as long as the fan size is the same, its ok. it would be better if you buy the same fan for the cpu cooler.
Also its nice to have a case fan for outtake too.
