Should and can I upgrade my processor?

My computer has a hard time doing anything, BUT games. It can barely load the browser , but can play games like Garry mod, prison architect fine. My friend told me I need to upgrade the processor. So, should I and can I?

You won't be able to upgrade. All of AMD's E series APUs on a BGA socket, meaning they are soldered to the motherboard and cannot be removed. I'm guessing you have an extreme low end laptop or all-in-one system, you're going to have to replace it entirely with something else, there are no real upgrade options for you.
