Hey guys, first time poster as well as first time builder. I've had a pre-built PC for a little over 2 years now and have upgraded my components (CPU, GPU, & MOBO). The issue that I've been getting was that the PC was loading fine; all fans were running correctly, LED's were running, and it seemed to boot properly as well. But when I hooked up my DisplayPort to my new GPU, I wasn't getting any form of signal whatsoever. Could I possibly have a GPU that was DOA? Or would there be another port that I could try to solve this issue? (I also run HDMI & DVI-D on other monitors).

Pre-built setup:
CPU: i5-4590
GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti
MOBO: MSI H81M-E33
PSU: No-name 600W Power Supply

Current (New Components) Setup:
CPU: i5 6600K
MOBO: ASUS H170-Pro ATX Mobo
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060
PSU: same as pre-built

Solution
First try to boot with the integrated graphics(by hooking up the Display Port or HDMI or VGA of the monitor to integrated graphics on the MB ) and see if that can help. If that is okay, then go to Device manager and check Display Adapter settings. Please try to to use a quality and branded PSU like Seasonic or Corsair. Also check that all the PSU cables are properly attached to the motherboard.
