Low FPS with GTX 1070 on BF1

I have been playing Battlefield 1 on Ultra settings at 1080p and noticed that people on YouTube were averaging over a 100fps most of the time and I have never seen my FPS get that high. I thought my FX-8350 was bottlenecking my GPU so I increased the resolution and it did help with a small raise in FPS (5-10), but I still have yet to get near the 100 FPS everyone else seems to get. Help me get to the right FPS!!! It's usually below 60 or right at 60 and no, v-sync is not on.

16GB RAM
GTX 1070
MSI 970 GAMING MOTHERBOARD
800 watt psu

Have you tried overclocking your 8350? The 8350 *IS* going to bottleneck a 1070 a lot but overclocking should help. I wouldn't expect to get 100fps though with any AMD. The 8350 is just a mid range gaming cpu at best.

Sorry, but you're going to have to upgrade your motherboard and cpu if you wan to get anywhere near 100fps.

100+ fps is not going to be possible on that amd setup

you are lucky to get 40 - 60 fps on it, as you noted

which is why with a gtx 1070 an intel setup is recommended
