How much should I sell my GPU for?

A couple of months ago, a bought a bunch of components for a budget gaming build. I purchased an EVGA GTX 960 SC 4GB for the build. Sadly, I haven't had the time to assemble the build, so the parts have been sitting on my shelf, collecting dust. I saw that the new GTX 1060 can handle games significantly better than the 960, so I would like to sell my 960 for a 1060, and hopefully build my computer. I originally purchased the 960 for around $230. The problem is, I've been looking at the pricing for used GTX 960s, and I haven't really noticed a common price. So, my question is, how much should I sell my GPU for? I would like to sell it soon. Also, where do you recommend selling it (EBay, Craigslist, etc)? This graphics card is still in it's box, and has never been used. In other words, it's brand new.

if you want 'ebay' pricing i've used thepricegeek.com. your card is about 125 dollars in the middle using that site.

but if its in box/not used with everything drop 10% of cost and try to sell it that way.

Presuming the card is still boxed without it being opened or the card ever being used in a system.
It would practically be price wise what the current selling price for a GTX 960 card is to buy from a retail outlet or computer parts retailer.

Of course people will still look at it as a second hand card, not wanting to pay the price it would cost them to buy from a retail store. They will expect the card to sell at a slightly cheaper price.

Like everything in life, or for example buying a card from a dealership, as soon as you drive the car off the forecourt it depreciates in price.

I mean if you drove it off the four court then returned it back to the dealership a hour later wanting to sell it back.
It would be slightly less in price the dealership would offer you in terms of a offer.

Insane as it sounds it`s the way of the world, and people.

If you payed $230 dollars for it, look at the price the card is currently selling for from a retailer.
Then your looking at - $20 as an incentive for people to buy it of selling on ebay as a rough guess.
Everyone likes to save a bit of money.

If you can live with that, and not think too much about the card never being used or un boxed then you have a good sense of a quick sale at the price you set for the card if putting it on ebay as an auction or buy it now price.
