Hello every one I just wanna ask is we are renovating our home and I want do is create a local landline phones from bedrooms if I am in an emergency I'll dial 1 to call thier phone in their bedroom and if they are in emergency they'll dial 2, I already have a WiFi router but I don't know how to do this help

Depends how much money you want to spend. Using old style phones will be quite expensive because of the cost of the hardware. Now if you have electronic skills you could build this using something like a raspberry pi. It would still need some external components. Otherwise you are going to have to go shopping on ebay for a old used pbx.

Why reinvent the wheel. You send text messages on a cell phone.

The main problem with old phone systems is they are analog systems. They operate on systems based on things like ring voltages and certain frequency tones. Your first step is to spend time reading wiki on how old phone systems work. If you do not have a background in electronics it is going to be tough. This is not a software project you actually have to build your own electronic devices to integrate with some digital platform

Just buy a alarm system with a panic feature on it. If you want to build it yourself then you need to figure some things out yourself. Things like the raspberry device are designed to integrate to external device but they are still tools. What you are asking is like saying I have a hammer how do I build a house.
