500w Power supply good enough for overclocking?

I have a 500w evga psu bronze certified and a i7-6700 (non k) with a EVGA GTX 970 ACX 3.0. I also have a 2 terabyte hard drive and 120gb SSD. I am planning in the near future to overclock my 970. Is the 500w power supply good enough?

first off, u do know ur overclocking a cpu thats locked right?

No I'm not going to overclock that just the 970 that's why I said the 970
