Access '/' root directory over Apache web server

I want to be able to access the root directory over apache web server (RedHat/CentOS). By default we can access /var/www/httpd. How do I change the configuration file in order to show all the directories over web browser from another computer over LAN?

I can't begin to tell you what a bad idea that is.

I understand this is a very bad idea, however it's only for learning purposes and I do not have any data at all on the server.

Even if you don't have (important) data, compromised web server can (and will) be used to launch DDoS attacks, send spam/fish, and (even worse) - host illegal content for which YOU will be responsible.
