Hi guys,

Ive run into an issue ever since i had a failed OC attempt.

When i turn my pc on with the start button or with directkey, it powers on but the screen does not. No bios launch screen or anything just off. The computer remains 'on' but nothing happens the components just whur away as if idling but it takes no input. If i press the MemTest button however, it boots up, performs the memtest and then takes me to BIOS. I can then manually select my SSD and boot into windows from there.

What could be going wrong? Ive tried enabling CSM, disabling secureboot, moving drives around, reordering the priority of boot drives, disabling all other drives. Nothing works i still have the same issue.

Is something fried on the mobo? Do i need to reinstall BIOS? Im at the point where im seriously just going to take it to a tech support company as painful as that is.

Relevant specs are as follows:

Mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 780 SC
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro
HDD: Seagate 2 TB and 500GB Drives

Let me know if you need any further information and thanks for any help i appreciate anyone who can give any sort of advice

You should try clear the CMOS by the jumper first, then go back to the BIOS and set to the optimal setting, or the default setting. And try again.

Or may try advanced startup tools to fix the problem if you can. http://www.howtogeek.com/131916/how-to-use-the-advanced-startup-options-to-fix-your-windows-8-computer/
