I am trying to find out what motherboard I have and it's a pain. I have used Speccy but can't understand half of it. I'll paste what it says here: Manufacturer LENOVO
Chipset Vendor Intel
Chipset Model Sandy Bridge
Chipset Revision 09
Southbridge Vendor Intel
Southbridge Model H61
Southbridge Revision B2
My computer is the Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 72 3484FPG. If anyone could tell me, that would be great :p

From COLGeek's link:

Slots
Two full height PCI Express x1
One PCI Express x16

Yes, the "ATI R9 270" is compatible and will work. ... p.s. you show you are from my generation, people now say "AMD" R9 270

Does your PC currently has a video card installed? (that specs call for one of these configs: Integrated Graphics Adapter
ATI Radeon HD7350(DVI+DP)
ATI Radeon HD7450(DVI+DP))

When you remove the old card remember to undo the latch at the end of the PCIe slot that is farthest from where you attach the monitor cable. The PCIe slot hook grabs a notch on the bottom of the card, the card will not pull straight up unless you free the latch.

My PC does have a card installed but I don't know if I'm misinterpreting you. I currently have a GTX 650 1gb installed, don't know if that's what you meant?

Yes, I know I would have to remove the 650 xD. I don't have the R9 270 yet as I wanted to make sure that it would work before buying.
