PC turning off by itself

Hey everyone.

I know this thread was published a lot of times, but still, mine is a little different.
I built my computer and I don't have the ram yet, but I wanted to do the electric test. All the components are new, so it's not the cmos battery or anything, only the psu is from my old computer. I turn on my computer and after a few seconds it turns off by itself.

My old computer was having problems with stuttering during games and the dificulty to turn on and then wouldn't even turn on. This can mean teh mobo or psu, but since it's happening on this new built too it has to be the psu, right?

But that is not a rule. I saw some videos of computers starting without the ram to see if the components were working

Maybe the ram was causing the problem on my old built, so I'm going to wait or the memory, but if it's still turn off by itself, then it's definitely the psu.
