Hello!
My computer crashed yesterday, when I played overwatch.
I tried to boot him up, and got short quick beeps when trying to boot.
I was like , OK this has happened before so I got one ram stick out, and now the computer booted, was stuck on bios , and beeping every 30 seconds.
I tried to unplug Hard drive , optical drive reader , every external phariperal and still same error- stuck on bios with long distance beeps .
I tried to boot without the GPU , which the computer did , and I was presented with this screen( I was using the onboard graphics),
il3Ha9yh.jpg
.
I waited till it finished, and the computer booted up normally.
When I tried to insert the graphics card the computer doesn't want to bot and I'm getting 1 long beep , and 3 short ones.
What can I do to fix this? Is it the graphics card or may it be the PSU/pci-e slot?
Thanks for any help !

My computer details are:
MOBO: Gigabyte GA h77m d3h
Graphics card: gigabyte GeForce g1 gaming 970
Ram : corsair 4gb
Kingston 8gb
Both 1333 hz
CPU:Intel Core i5-3450 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
PSU: antec 500w 80 bronze
HD: WD 500gb
SSD : Samsung evo 850,250 gb

well that's part of what I'm saying the back up bios may not support the 900 card but one of the latest bios will . that's a well known thing with 900 and up cards and old motherboards [all I can do is help you guess]

kinda talked up here for a example

what bios revision did the back up bios install ??? also what revision motherboard is yours ? (rev. 1.0) rev. 1.2 rev. 1.1

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4143#ov

be sure you get that right
then any bios flash will set the bios back to all default settings so you may have to go back through it and make any needed changes for any hardware like...
well some of them old board may not support 900 or above cards and will require there latest motherboard bios updated to do so ? I assume your card was working just fine seeing you were playing on it when the issue popped up

here he says 1 long, 3 short: Keyboard error

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1920390

then here it claims - 1 long, 3 short Memory test failure

http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/amibeep.htm

then here giga says - Graphic card error 1 long beep and 3 short beep

http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=816

with that chart what beeps are you getting - [I don't know who's right on what beep code is what ???] CHECK YOUR MOTHERBOARDS MANUAL

my old giga 590sli board bios chip failed like this , but you have to do all the hoop jumping to run down a process of elimination

thing is the backup bios is most all ways first release and unflashable on a gigabyte [that protects it ] now if you can boot back in to the bios screen and then download the latest or newer bios and re-flash the primary bios back ?? [follow normal bios flashing instructions from giga for your board ]

only thing is what caused the corrupt bios to start with ???? that's the big trick
