I recently purchased a GTX 1060 3GB mini to upgrade from an 8 year old Sapphire card. Now that I've put it in the case, I attempt to find drivers and install them but notice there isn't an option for drivers on 8.1 (the OS I'm running). Every time I try to install the drivers (Version 368.39) I get the message "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". This has led to abysmal performance from the card to the point the 8 year old card would actually be an upgrade. Is there's any solution for this?
EDIT: I had managed to get the drivers working on my GTX 1060 mini. NVIDIA released an update for the drivers and when I attempted to install it, my screen went black and the computer turned off. Now when I turn it on, no display appears on the monitor even with another GPU. My ASUS Mobo has a red light on its Boot LED. What do I do?
