Hi guys,

long time reader, first time poster here, from the UK.

I have decided to upgrade my graphics card today and I bought an ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1070 8GB TURBO after finding an amazing deal, however, after receiving the card I found that my PSU only has a 6 pin connector and after some research I have found that the PSU is considered poor to say the least!

I am looking for a new PSU to safely power my new GTX 1070. Please can you recommended me one that includes everything I need connector wise.

My system spec:

CASE: Chillblast COOLER MASTER (can't find a model number?)
PSU: CIT ATX 12V 700UB
MBD: Asus P8Z77-V LX
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K
GPU: ASUS GTX 1070 8GB (upgraded from AMD HD 7790)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB
Backup HDD: WD My Passport 0741 1TB
SSD: (Looking to upgrade to an SSD)
MEM: Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB

Thanks for the reply guys.

Will the PSU's mentioned be able to link up all of my existing components? I noticed that one of them is "modular" and I wasn't sure if this would work?

As for the 1070, I found it on eBay locally and paid only £310! :)

thanks for the reply--and you are a lucky beggar lol

guess i will keep on looking maybe by xmas we will see a price drop
