Hi,
I am almost certain you are not able to do this without removing the entire switch to do this, but i have a Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry MX Red switches and to be honest.
They are not my favourite switches and they have held up well, but I have noticed in the past few months that I have been messing up on my typing due to them being linear switches. So I was wondering if I would be able to swap the red switches for another type, mainly the blue or browns.
So the problem I am facing is the fact that they are the RGB switches with the clear housing so I will either need to find some of the blue/brown switches with the clear housing or find a way to swap them by simply taking off the key caps and doing it that way. I am able to get a soldering iron but do not currently own one.
Thank you for any replies,
Simon
PS: I know it may be easier to get a new K70 with the blue/brown switches but that would mean having to shell out possible more money than I would like to
