Hello everybody!

The time has come where I decided that I am going to build a custom computer. I have set up a list on hardware components, but experience is not something I am in possesion of on this topic. My main intentions for this build is for gaming and creativity. I want it to be one fast solid computer.

Here is the parts list.

SSD: Should I go with the 960 evo instead of the choosen 950 pro?

Motherboard: I am not sure about this one but have been told that the 6 cores is the way to go, but I mean the z170 chipset is newer and a little faster?

Gpu: Also not entirely sure about this one but have come to the conclusion that this specific card would be the best right before asus rog strix. But should I wait for the 1080ti to release? Have heard that going SLI should be the last way out.

If you got any improvments, maybe it is overkill, maybe would be able save on something just something I would love to hear from you.

Btw I am going to watercool it.

Thanks in advance.

If you stay with a i7-68xx CPU you should buy memory in a matched set of 4 DIMMs. the 68xx CPUs have quad channel memory controller and to maximize performance, you want sets of 4 DIMMs. You need a CPU cooler since the 68xx don't include one with the CPU.

You shouldn't need an 850W power supply. 650 would be enough for non-SLI.
