Computer not powering on :'(

So to get right to the point.

Last night before bed I put my computer in sleep mode like I do everyday. Well today I finally go to sit down to use my desktop and I press the power button to wake it up like I always do except this time it didn't wake up and the red led light that shows power is on, wont light up.

I'm so afraid to hear that my computer might be dead.
I might literally shed a tear :'(

Someone give me positive news, please!

Try unplugging it from the wall. Hold down the power button for 20 seconds. Plug it back in and give it another go. Laptop or desktop? If laptop, take out the battery and unplug as well.

Discharge the mainboard and or get you out of a funky sleep state. You probable just need a new power supply.

I was thinking that it may just be the power supply. Do you think any of my other hardware may be damaged now? Like I said. it was working perfectly fine until i tried to wake it from sleep mode.

I'll give that a shot. I imagine it would be best to unplug all my other components from the psu while doing this, right?
