Hello all! I am in the market for a CPU that can run games and stream to Twitch flawlessly. I know the best set up for this would be to have a streaming PC and a gaming PC, but I would like to do both from one machine if possible. I understand that processors all have their strengths when it comes to gaming vs encoding, but I need one that will do both without any problems. Here is what I am looking for:
- Intel
- <$500
- Good stock speed. (I know I am limited here and people will probably tell me to OC for what I am wanting the chip to do. I will purchase a K series if the chip is a solid choice and beats out anything performance wise. I will probably use the turbo mode function if anything.)

I've done my research from threads on tomshardware and I'm just looking for something more up to date with what Intel has to offer now. Any help would be much appreciated :) Thanks!

Edit: Kind of looking at the i7 6800k (wont be needing the 6850). If anyone has anything better or a different opinion on architecture, I would love to hear.

The 6700k does like quite appealing considering the stock speed of 4GHz. My other question(s) would be: is it more beneficial to stream and game with a 6 core? and is there anything that rivals a 6700k(threading etc)?
