I'm overclocking my FX-8350 for the first time.
I am wondering what I can achieve and how I should change my voltage as I go along, what is the procedure?
Should I also increase the NB voltage or just the CPU voltage?

So far I have been using UEFI to overclock. I have been using OCCT to stress test, for 30 mins after each overclock. My CPU has been running at about 47 C I have set my CPU voltage from 1.3125 volts to 1.4 volts after overclocking up to 4.4 Ghz (originally 4Ghz). I have heard I shouldn't increase my voltage past 1.6

I wouldn't nb voltage unless you're going for high oc and you're unstable without anything over heating. You can go as high as you want without going past 55c on the cpu,( 62 is max but try to be around 55) and don't go past 1.5v on vcore. You might run into problems with you're vrms throttling bc like someone said before , that board doesn't have a very good power phase if you're ocing.

What cooler do you have? I wouldn't go anywhere past 1.45v or so on your motherboard it only has a 4 phase VRM. I would expect 4.6 or 4.7ghz on an 8350 at 1.45v, however not all 8350s were created equal some may go higher some may not even reach that. What is northbridge voltage set to stock? I wouldn't go higher than 1.2v.

The max voltage depends on which motherboard you have. But for the CPU, AMD says 1.5 volts is the safe limit. Not 1.6.

When you start approaching 4.8Ghz it takes a lot more voltage to keep things stable.

If you're going for a high overclock the CPU northbridge will more than likely have to be set around 1.3 to keep things stable. AMD says this is safe.

Not to be rude, but there is tons of information out there. Look for the guide made by AMD techs. It's very informative.
